The world doesn`t need anything really, maybe less people and more resources... But we would still fuck that up so its no solution. We, as planet earth people, basicly need a set of parents :D

Alittle bit more room would be nice, traffic is rediculous everywhere, and you fuckers are starting to invade my personal space!!!! Which just keeps getting smaller.

As for the goodness of lotsa platypodes ... the males have a toxic spur whose venom has some truly breathtaking properties. Googling "platypus envenomation" should lead to some anus-clenching anecdotes ... cn
