What do you think of this seedling setup?

Just a quick setup for the first week or so to save on energy, for getting the seeds started. I am worried that the light is way to close to the plants, and if so, how far should the light be? I mean the farther away, the less light, so I dunno what to think. I also think there might be heating problems, but I could put it in my basement where it is around 60 degrees or so. Thanks guys.

all you needed to do waz just put them in soil and under a light not close to it. no need for a hummidity dome to crack seeds...just for cloneing.

yeah take the dome off...your gonna want them to get air...

you might also wanna separate them in to individual pots, and judging by the light your using it's not to close but for seedling you wanna keep temps between 75-80 degrees, and def get rid of the dome....

I'm doing a hydro grow, i forgot to mention, and they go in little tiny rockwool cubes, so there is still like 2-3 inches between the rockwool if it was right underneath the light.

Sorry, I just was wondering if that made a difference at all? Is it not important for the seeds to be in a high humidity area? Should I just put the rockwool in w/o the dome, and place the light about 6 inches from the rockwool?

you might wanna try soil, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more forgiving..

but if you are using rockwool you might wanna keep the dome, i dont know alot about it but from what i have read it has to stay quite moist
