What do you guys think?

I have my first REAL grow starting in about a week and a half... I plan to make a picture blog journal on here for everyone to see and helpme with also.

My planned equipment:

1x 5' x 5' Silver Edition Hydro Hut
1 4' 4-bulb HO T5 Ballast w/ 4 6.4k bulbs for clones (when needed) and supplementary lighting to aid my MH during veg.
2x 8" sealed lens hood
2x 1000w convertable ballast mh/hps
1x 7.2k MH 1000w
1x 2k HPS 1000w
2x 8" Inline fan 450 cfm
50' 8" Flex-duct
12x 10 gallon smart pots
Fox Farm Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom Nutes
CalMg+ (to equalize my water ran through my pur filter to eliminate the "hard water" from my city water system)
Plus I have various other gizmos to test ph and all those other neat toys

I figured this would def. trump the intro setup I originally planned, (400w switchable mh/hps) and if I'm going to do it... I better do it right!

I hope this will draw a bunch of interest!

I will have my 3-week-old clones next weekend. I unfortunatly will not be able to afford the hydro hut or hps buld for 3 months... So I will start with an epic 3 month veg period of 18/6 untill the rest of the setup is obtained. This will be a soil grow btw.

I should be getting clones of: ChemDog, DarkStark, RockLoc, Bubblicious, Larry OG Kush and AK-47

Enjoy!

If you are growing full cycle in the tent why are you getting 2 of everything needed to setup the lights? You'll only need to run a single 1000w in a 5x5 for good results. Putting a second one in there would almost certainly make it too hot.

I am going to stagger my plants so I can harvest bigger plants every few months vs a bunch of little plants every so often

So will you be vegging new plants in a separate area while others are flowering in the tent?

When I started, I ran out and bought all that stuff also. Changed my mind and ended up growing outdoors. I have yet to turn on a light. Could have saved a bundle if I had walked before I ran out and bought everything.
Doin it right doesn't have to mean spending all your cash. That in of itself is not the answer. doin it right means doing your homework. Listening to advice not listening to bad advice, (not that you will get any of that on this forum FUCK NO) Making wise decisions about all the stuff that pops up that you haven't got a clue about untill you see it.
You know, stuff like that.
I will now get off my box
