what do you guys think about these affordable t5 systems?

I was thinking of picking the 8 bulb set up. also since there in oceanside I can just drive and pick it up.

no idea. I have http://www.aghydroponics.com/Sun-Blaze-4ft-x-8Tube-T5-Fluorescent-Grow-Light-p/litt5-960305.htm and I'm pretty happy, it's slightly more though. Also the kelvin on those bulbs isn't ideal for growing, so what you'd save might be eaten up by replacing all the bulbs...

6500k? Isn't that ideal for vegetative growing or no?

the 6500k is great for vegging, but you wil have to buy bulbs in the 2300-2700k range to flower with, or buy the system w/o the bulbs and buy your bulbs seperate. id rather go with cfl's than t5's. you can arrange them where needed, easily replaceable and available everywhere.
