What do you collect or wish to collect ?

I love watching Mike Wolf & Frank Fritz on the tv show American Pickers cause of the cool shit they find from my youth,its also cool to see other guys collections so i got to thinking are there any members of RIU who collect or wish to collect a specific item or area.

I collect vintage radios,vintage hifi,modern high end audio,music,subway posters,racist memorabilia from ww2 era,Mcintosh Labs audio Dealer posters & displays,nazi relics,civil war flags ect.

I also started collecting money within the last few yrs,my father started my collection with a $500 bill i inherited along with a gold certificate & silver certificate,both are pretty rare as FDR recalled all certificates pre ww2, i recently picked up a nazi dagger siezed from a regimental commander from the SS along with a mitary issue switch blade knife & brass knuckles.

I collect lotsa different goodies,lets hear what you guys collect.

Credit card numbers to fund my grow. Jk. Love all kinds of guns and pre 1930 medicinal glass bottles.

I used to collect drugs, but then I did them all

And my gramma and great aunt used to give me coins and rare money on special occasions, but those eventually went to the drug collection

i collect memorys.

recently I started collecting old cell phone with dick picts and electric scooters

Arrowheads, Vintage farm signage oh and souls !

I don't collect anything. But I've often thought if I did, it'd be hammers. I don't know, there are a lot of fucking hammers out there.

I have a few too! My prize is a slice of "Brahin".

Leninist, Markist and Maoist propaganda. Books of many types. Communist childrens books, modern firsts, art and photography. WWII ration books and diaries. Photographic negatives from the thirties and forties. Too many collections really - my heart went out of it when the Internet made everything pretty much freely available. It ruined the thrill of the hunt and made it more about how much money you can throw at something. All my collections are dead now. Too much stuff - slows you down.

If you dig the WWII racism, get to a library and check out Dr. suess's wartime stuff. I think he published under Ted Geisel (sic?). It is kind of funny to see Hirohito with a bunch of sneeches. There is a book compiling it all. Probably freely available. Pretty racist from today's perspective.

i collect offensive t-shirts, money, calander art and flashes. but my best was my lego collection. i had over 400 lbs of legos. all legos, non of that duplo or megablock bullshit. sadly i lost it all in a divorce. it still hurts

oh she did it in the slimiest way possible too. but its all good tho. one day, ill have an even better lego collection. she will ne-ver be a size 7 and cute ever again
