What Do U Think About This....

Ok im starting a grow, first big grow and I want to do it right. Ive done some small 12/12 from seed CFL grows but this is the first serious one. Im taking a 8x4 grow space, using 1000 watt metal halide for veging and then using a 1000 watt hps for flowering. Will this light be adequate for the area. Ill be using 10'' 2.5 gallon pots and have 30 plants. I plan to veg for 2 months and then flower for 2 months or until the buds are mature. Should I use bigger pots or will 2.5 gallons be enough to accomidate the plants full grow potential for that peroid. Whats the best soil and fertilizers i can use? Ive heard 20 20 20 but when i went to menards for ferilizer for my CFL grow i didnt see any fertlizer that met those specks. Keep in mind ill also be using Mylar on the walls. Also might set up co2 for flowering. Has anyone used co2 and how big of a boost was it. With this information does anyone have any idea what kind of yield per plant i could be thinking about, with and without c02? If anyone has any advice id appreciate it. And ill be using all feminized seeds.

Personally instead of one 1000 watt light id do 4 times 250, can hang them closer to plants, get better overall light output, probably get 30% more lumen/lux with the 4 smalls.

Not so much an average of 4 250 watt bulbs the lumen out put is 21350 per bulb putting the lumens at a total of 85400. On the other side for the metal halides a 1000 watt puts out 110000. On the HPS the 250s run 29000, x4 is 11600. But the 1000 wat HPS puts out 140000 lumens. Not saything that there probally isnt merit to using that technique but the lumen output is less.
