Last year my buddy had few plants and he was bringing me with him to see them
, one time we went a couple weeks before harvest time and the buds had fuzzy mold growing on them so he lost some buds from that,, I was just wondering what would cause that so I can save my buds from mold when the time comes, thanks

That's about it. Too much water in the air, or wet buds. When it rains on buds that are more than a month into flower, they can trap moisture inside, and that turns into the fuzzy stuuf you found. After it rains, shake all excess water from the plants, and hope for warm dry conditions the following days after. Not much else you can do really.

There is a product you can spray on a plant no matter how far into flower it is. Oxidate is like peroxide,it kills the mold and becomes water and oxygen very fast(15min) you then shake off water. It's better then loosing the crop
