What can I add at week 5 flowering to increase bud?

I am at about week 5 flowering six bagseeds in a DWC CFL setup. One plant is significantly larger than the others with about five colas at about 5" or so and the others seem a bit slow. Anyway, I'm using the Fox Farms hydro schedule with the main three and I was wondering if I could add in anything else to increase bud size. Plenty of hydro stores around me so I can probably pick up whatever. Also would it make much of a difference to throw some more CFLs in at this point?

Proper light will do more then nutrient additives. With CFL, I've yet to see "too much".

molasses is great, just cause its natural doesnt mean more is good (a little warning). I used 2-3 large tablespoons into 14litres...i usually mix the molasses together with hot water (not boiling) in a seperate tub then mix in with the nutes after its super smooooooth. No lumpy/chunky bits! I also use molasses every 2nd watering (until flush) as i found it clogged up the soil a little...if you alternatve the molasses watering it allows the previous molasses to break down and prevent nasty shit happening.

love the stuff tho, didnt use it as much this grow...doing 16 in such a small area i wanted to make the watering easier...got a watering wand and pump...16 plants are watered in less than 18 mins now :D But molasses started to clog my pump. Next time i will need to rethink shit as i think molasses is a great *cheap* additive!

all the best man

I tryed Grandmas molasses on my white widows and had problems, 4 out of 5 widows died, I added 3 Tble of Grandmas to one gal. of distilled water, the problem showed up the following week, can anyone give me a I did something wrong or am I just living wrong it really hurts to see all your work fail.

Sounds like you either did one of the following.. or both:

1. you got the molasses that has sulpher in it; which you cannot use. You need to get the "unsulphered" molasses.
2. Your mixture was too strong.

I don't think your suppose to use that much.. 3 tblspoons?!?! yeah, you over did it bro. But I would also check and make sure you have the right kind of molasses. I have the right kind.. and my plants love the shit. But again, I don't use the rich of a mixture. I only mix like half a tblspoon per every gallon of water.

Hope this helped you out.

use gravity... i'm done a ton of side by side comparisons with it... church, nyc diesel, lemon skunk, chemdog. I must say there def is a big difference. u cant use any nutes with it... tends to burn ur plants.
