What Are Different Strains Like?

I've been wondering this for awhile now. We don't have much of a choice around here between strains. It's either shit or this one decent strain. What are different strains like? Are they all the same high? Or do they just have the same general effects? Are they usually completely different or what? It seems like the only thing that would change the high is if the strain was more satvia or indica and the THC pecentage. I mean what things differ between strains?

Tons of amazing things. I feel like there must be a thread/website somewhere that can help you. I unfortunately do not have that information..

color,density,taste,effect,length of high,weight plenty of things make them different

They're all pretty different. Mostly in looks and taste
