what about this cfl???

has anyone used the flood light cfl's? i got a few for around the house and they are nice but what about to grow with?

can u post a pic of wht the look like? How many watts? How many lumens? Whats the kelvin? how many plants? How many bulbs?

no plants just asking if anyone has used them......here's kinda what i got 23 Watt - Warm White 2700K - PAR38 Flat Glass Face Reflector - Compact Fluorescent - Energy Star Qualified - Goblal #073 Light Bulb
but it came from walmart. prob should have read the package but it kicks ass for late night grilling

That 2700K is the type for Flowering. You want 6500K for Vegetative. You want about 4000 Lumens per plant. I'd recommend 4, 26w 6500K, CFL's per plant you are going to grow. Just buy the helical ones, you can get a 2 pack from wallmart for 6.99.

like i said its not the one i got. im just thinking maybe would stop the need for a reflector for each light and its only like 5.99 at walmart. i mean its bright as hell for my grill so i was thinking someone might want to know about it
