Wet trim for hash?

So I've just cropped my first harvest and I've got a question regarding hash.

I was thinking of using the ISO method, with alcohol? I have wet trim at the moment, is it ok to use wet trim for ISO hash? Or should I dry it out first?

Cheers dude. Is there any specfic way to dry trim or would a quick couple day dry be good? As I'm only collecting the trics right?

No dude. Your using ISOPROPYL ALCHOHOL you use all the plant matter. To dry it out use the oven. Spread the material out on a cookie sheet. 200F will convert the cannabinoid acids. It's supposed to make your oil more potent. If you read any ISO guides that say to use baking soda or flour. Don't do it man, you just want the oil bro. You tear up little 3/4 x 3/4 inch tin foil square and put a small dot of oil, spread it out like butter on bread. Fold it up loose like a ball. When you smoke it dont put the flame on it to long. 1/2 second at a time to get it going. If it catches on fire you gave it to much flame.

wtf who said anything about baking soda thats a horrible idea we arent making crack. also i wouldnt smoke hash like that

edit grain alc works good if that what ur talking about op

Dry them like buds and then freeze them then make your goodies freezeing makes it easy to get most thc

the solvent, isopropyl alchohol will leach out all the essential oils from the plant. It won't matter if its frozen or at room temperture.

its what I've read in some ISO hash guides. And yes it's a bad idea to use it. Why I told the OP not to use it. :)
it's definitively not hash. It's hash-oil. Looks almost like motor oil. Not like a block of hash. I hope that helps with your confusion. :)

I would highly recommend you dry the trim out....then reconsider your hash method!! Bubble hash will be much higher quality, and you can get a set of bubble bags for $30 on Amazon.

Just saying....

I did the same thing, tried ISO hash back during my first attempt at hash. Bought bubble bags right after and have used them since. ISO hash isn't bad, but it doesn't smoke nearly as well as bubble hash, or have nearly as nice of a consistency. Plus its super easy, ice+water+trim and your done.

But to answer your question, yes dry will be better. Some air flow will help dry trim out pretty damn fast too.
