Westboro Baptist Church threatens to picket Sandy Hook funerals

Anonymous hacktivists target the Westboro Baptist Church after members announce plans to picket Sandy Hook ElementarySchool, where a gunman killed 20 school children and six adults on Friday, Dec. 14.

On Saturday, Dec. 15, Shirley Phelps-Roper announced that the Westboro Baptist Church would picket Sandy Hook Elementary School located in Newtown, Connecticut, with the following tweet:

Westboro will picket Sandy Hook Elementary School to sing praise to God for the glory of his work in executing his judgment.

In response, Anonymous released the personal contact information of members of the Westboro Baptist Church, including the home address, email address and phonenumber of numerous church members.
Preaching a hate filled gospel so obnoxious most Christians reject their teaching, the Westboro Baptist Church is an anti-gay Christian fundamentalist church notorious for its "God Hates Fags" signs and the picketing of soldiers’ funerals.
In addition to the release of personal information belonging to the church, Anonymous is also promoting a petition atwhitehouse.gov asking the Obama administration to legally recognize the Westboro Baptist Church as a hate group. The petition notes that the church “has been recognized as a hate group by organizations, such as The Southern Poverty Law Center, and has repeatedly displayed the actions typical of hate groups.”

at least these guys dont twist and water down what the bible actually says , unlike most christians .

I don't always agree with what anonymous does, hell most of the time I will probably disagree with what they do, but this time, ^^those two things, I completely agree with.

So if some psycho came into their church, opened fire, and killed half of their membership, would the other half still be singing praise to God for the glory of his work in executing his judgment?

The truly sad thing is they are teaching their children how to hate. That kind of hate inevitably turns on itself. They will reap what they sow. I have nothing but pity for them.

The ones to be afraid of orchestrated and helped sponsor the Kill the Gays bill in Uganda. The same people that claim gays are responsible for the Holocaust. Scott Lively and his hate group also sparked the violence in Uganda. Gay activists and gay supporters were viciously attacked and murdered in cold blood. One activist had his head caved in with a hammer at his residence. That was the reason for the Chick-fil-A protest which the media completely fucked up. They helped fund Lively's African hate campaign. Westboro blows a lot of hot air and 99% of their congregation are actually family members so eventually they will fade into history. However, Scott Lively is also connected with "The Family" which organizes the National Prayer Breakfast and has several key conservative GOP congressmen as members. They influence legislation. They dabble in international politics and have been accused of violating international law when they helped sponsor the Uganda bill. They're the ones we need to keep an eye on.
