Weird Three branched plant????

So i've been trying to get a few plants growing, and i've been out of town for a few weeks,(don't worry, my roomates been watering my babies for me =p)
but i came home, and this is the only weird one. it has three branches coming out of the main stem and the two lowest leaves are huge! aside from lack of care(don't bash me on how shitty and malnourished it looks) have any of you guys ever seen one stem out like this?

haha, yeah i'm definitely going to keep growing it, but like the bottom fan leaves stem goes up higher then the main stem that splits from it. i don't know if you can understand that. its too hard to explain haha.
