weird question

is it ok to set up a small grow tent inside a large cardboard box (like from a fridge or something), cut the holes in the box to match the grow tent exhaust and intake, and stick it in a closet?

the main idea is keeping this small tent hidden so if anyone asks why i have a large box in the closet it looks like a storage thing..

will this cause problems? i dont see how it would but thats why i ask... thank yuou guys for the help

if the humidity rises or carboard gets wet it will crumble up and drop light on plants and its a possible fire harzard

exactly. does anyone see why this wouldnt work? im planning on a homebox xs which is only 2x2x4 so it is small and relatively short with a 125w cfl. id cut holes to match the tents ports. how does anyone else hide their tent? my problem is even though the tent is amazing and hides the plants, its still a grow tent so even in the closet pretty damn obvious what it is..

I know a couple guys on here who used cardboard Wardrobe boxes from Uhaul...like 3 feet tall...they used them as grow boxes with no problem, so if you just wanna set up a box around your tent, more power to ya!
