today i woke up and checked on my plants and looked to find 2 small white stemmed and brown topped mushrooms about half an inch tall growing about 3 inches away from my plants stem into the soil. the soil ive used was miracle grow moisture control soil. i shouldnt have got it but this is my first grow and i didnt know at the time.i have planted this as a clone off a skunk plant. its about 11 inches tall and gets watered every other day. does anyone know why these things grew or how i can prevent it from happening again???? what are they?

dude, thats nature, those break down organic decaying material and turn it into something useful for other organisms to feed from, they arnt hurting anything imo. ive had soil do the same thing but i had it heavy on the composted cow manure.
