Week 8- funny growth???

Hi peeps,

Bubbalishious - NIRVANA

just started week 8 of flower but i have some funny looking growth on a couple of plants,

Any ideas???

it started at about week 6.

can I cut the top off???

Oh yeah, when do the buds start to look like buds?? and when do you get a growth spurt??

It looks almost like they are stretching. Is it possible that you have a light leak? It almost looks like they are trying to grow, but you are so late in the flowering one would expect them to get no taller other then actual bud.

How long the seed bank say flowering should take?

Do not cut off the top this far into the flowering. That would not be good for the plant.

Hi, street thanx for the reply, I think you might be right, fuk fuk fuk, there might be a slight leek...
will check in the morning, when lights are on.
flower time was 8 weeks.

Will this fuck up my bud????? got so far!! got any rope?. shit...

I don't know but you might want to lay off the Nitrogen because that plant is super dark green for week 8 of flower.

You may get a harsh smoke if you have too much lingering N.

That's definitely stretched.. it's like the very top buds on the cola didn't want to join with the former buds below. I'd say light leak, or you could just blame it on strain?:joint:

good sleuthing .....a light leak ..... good chance that might be it. But I think the bud looks pretty darn friggin good. But they're putting energy into growin more length when you want them to put it all into bud growth. But no shame with what you have they are looking very nice indded. Good luck. Walk On!~

Thanx for the help guys, i think it is a light leak prob, will sort it out in the morning,

started flushing with water only 5 days ago, will flush for about 2 weeks more.

The colas do not look fat enough, will they get any bigger and denser??

When examined closely the cola does not look like buds, will they form of does it happen when it is drying???

sorry but its my first grow.

no worries. not sure what ur seeing that is not buds ....but it looks like nicely developing bud from the pics? I think its all good, and another two weeks you will see that they may even walk another week as well? patience. and you will be duly rewarded. Walk On!!~~

yea they got some time left .... but I think they look pretty nice. I wish someone with more experience would take a look too cuz ..... I really don't have that much direct hands on ..... but certainly from what I have seen and on here the various gros ..... they're doing well, and have lots more to go.

i just finished growing some nirvana supergirl that did the same thing and had me puzzled as fuck!! i think u guys figured out my problem too.......cause i got some big time light leaks coming from an adjacent grow room. i've been fooling myself thinking the lights not harming my girls, but i gotta get in there and seal those leaks ASAP. :dunce: especially now that i've put the mylar up cause that's magnifying the shit outta those leaks!

Glad you found you problem. I was starting to get scared with the whole Nirvana seeds thing. I have some PPP and SnowWhite starting now and hope to not see the same issues.
