I have some C13-Haze (super cantaloupe x G13 Haze) it is on week six of 11 and some of the lower branches are finishing it looks like, the pistols have changes to red. I have two 1000w hps on it and I am thinking they shouldn't be doing this. I havent even began to swell yet. I want to know if this is normal or not or if i have to look more deeply into this. I am running my EC at 2.0 now and I am hoping I have a lot more cola developing to go. my lights are 3' from the plant. I am hoping to get 1.5 lbs out of this and i am getting worried

Should be fine. Try not to pay attention to red hairs too much. It's the trichomes that determine when a plant is ready, not the hairs.

I think you should try to move your lights closer to your plants unless you are already suffering from extreme temps at 3 feet. Your plants will grow bigger and faster and you might not be so scared.

1.5 pounds seems awfully high for one plant(though it can be done). How tall is it now?

I didn't know it was only 1 plant. With 2 1000w lights I assumed there would be several. I really want to see the 1.5lb plant.

Please post a photo or two

I dont have a digital camera, these cola's are getting frostier by the day. The strain is from DNA genetic out of Amsterdam. I have the lights so high because I have two tables of 24 (ebb&flo) next to the big girl. It was formally a mother. I had two mothers and only needed one. (I didnt want to waste her so I flowered her) The plant is about 4' tall but I cut it bonzi twice and it has a 4' diameter. Which is a meter squared. The site told me it should yeild 400-500g/m2. One more question though, should I be spaying with glucose water everyday or not?

I don't like to spray at all during flowering. It's unnecessary and you're just inviting mold. Regarding the yield estimate on the website, I wouldn't base your expectations on that. It would apply if you were doing a LST, SCROG, or SOG type grow where space is maximized and all budsites receive plenty of light. One bushy plant doesn't really accomplish that. I would estimate that you're probably looking at a quarter pound for the plant you describe, though I certainly hope you do better. 1.5 pounds is out of the question, in my opinion.

thats what I am thinking, i wont get that much. I have grown before but not this seriously like I am now. It looks like i will at least pull a 1/2 pound. my relative huidity stays around 30-35% so I like to spay them once a day. I watch out for bud mold and make sure not to over due it. Thanks for the information I appreciate it.
