Okay my first post here

This is my first plant,
she's around week 3? of flower....10 week veg (8/1-10/14), topped 8 sites, been tying her down with fishing line for 5 weeks

The light is 300W led... strain is unknown (AMS) from Netherlands

It smells super fruity I wish I knew the strain though looks indica dom

2 days ago, I uppotted her from 3 gal 80/20 coir/perlite to 5 gal 50/40/10 coir/cow manure compost/perlite, been feeding high phos as needed, have not done since repot

Since uppotting to the 5 gal with manure buds have taken off. Done 3 defolations and will have to do more soon she responds well buds grow every time

In the last week or so, though I've noticed some sort of deficiency in the top leaves only, maybe someone can help out. It looks to me like a combination of low magnesium/nute burn (yea i know the cow manure it's really hot on the leaves) dunno really gonna go pick up some epsom salts and see if that will help

Let me know if anyone can tell what nutes she needs for rebalancing my guess is mag..other than those small things she seems to be doing well, any input it appreciated thx all blaze on IMG_2003.JPG IMG_2005.JPG IMG_2001.JPGIMG_2006.JPG

Hey Sk, nice plant so far. Question, how high is your light above that plant? That could just be the plant's reaction to light stress and raising the panel a bit and adding some silicone might be the answer. Those Chinese based panels get awful bright from their LEDs being driven hard and there can be hot spots from the lack of binning, differences in light outputs between LEDs, and imperfect cooling. Yes depending on the light you're using and strain you're growing calcium and magnesium deficiencies pop up but lots of times LED growers miss out on light stress being the cause and get a bit knee jerk with the Cal/Mag and then introduce new problems. Sometimes letting the plant have a little less intense light get's it better acclimated to the LED source during flowering IMO. Let's the plant grow into the light.
Having said all that isn't cow manure a little hot for cannabis? Those down-turned tips may be indicating a nitrogen or PH problem I believe. Maybe some others want to clear this up for us?

Anyway Good Luck and Happy Growing.

Haha thanks rob yeah that was similar to my experience, i ate sp once three years back vibrant colours nothing like magic those are growing too peyote was similar to the sp though had to eat a lot less of it, made up for it in taste lol, they are such a pleasure to grow though they are beautiful when they flower

The big peyote there is 40-50 years old , the one above it around 15 years, both gave the seeds I planted now have 20 little 2 year old buttons the cactus family love the LED and the big girl too hah

thanks all for the kind support :peace:

Silicone???? Why would you put caulk in your media?????? LMFAO!!!! I'll just bet you meant Si (Silica) and that is a good idea for veg and into bloom to week 6.

It's Mg.

The plant would not be looking like it does if he used "fresh" cow manure. He used composted cow manure. Most of that is 1-1-1 and makes a fine addition to non-hydro grows.

The turned down leaves tell me he is "pushing" the plant a bit. Not to far either! The next step of how the leaves would look "pushing", would be brown tips. That can be close to right at the edge of to much. When you can do that without it progressing into the leaves any farther, your doing ALL you can in "pushing".

Yeah man, NICE yummy looking cacti. The grandaddy of the group is sooo pretty! Collected by the "walk in a straight path and only take what is in that path" method? (just had to ask) Mine were pinched off my deck last year....kinda odd as it had to be a "guest" of a friend that came over, as no one knew exactly what they were but me and the wife.
Guess I'll have to take a trip to the southwest and "find" some more.
