i have a nothern light feminized growing under 150watt hps in dwc 5 gal bucket i have been a little careless with the nutes<foxfarm> in the first week i accidently fed way to much GROWBIG, twice the amount needed i was high an feeding according to the soil chart..they didnt show any stress until around day 9 of being in the solution,,i was supposed to change my res..but i did it a week late an ive read that salt builds up in the water if u wait to long to change it..it started with one or two little copper/brown spots now it takin control of my lower fan leaves they are yellowing fast and as the spots grow bigger the leaves die ive already lost 2 lower fan leaves id also add my ph is between5.5 and 6.5 the temps are at 78 when lights on 63 when lights are off due to small fan constantly blowing on them..dont know about humiditytn.jpg

You've totally lost me with that.

You burnt the shit out of them with the 2x nute OD and then compounded the problem by not changing out the rez.

Yeah, first off...dont try to imitate rain. Just do the things that ALL the growbooks tell you to do. Ph between 5.5 and 6.5 is a pretty big variation man. So, its hard to pinpoint exactly where your problem is, the old res solution, the too high of nutes, the indoor rain, the using a 150 watt light... Pretty much you know what you need to do. Give it the right amount of nutes at the CORRECT ph, change the res regularly, not a WEEK late, no more rain, and get some supplemental lighting. Shazza.

Its like kung fu panda....there is no secret ingredient ;-)

Those last two questions...are theu really questions? I dont know of the new growth is fine, do you?
Again, the cure is to just grow them correctly. Right nutes, change the res, dont love em to death, and dont disregard them either....

lol wow you need a better camera.

hydro, you want 5.3-5.5, so 6.5 is not ok.
the temps are fine, and at that temp, with DWC, your humidity is fine
and dont over fert. if the color of that plant in that pic, is the color of the plant, then your over ferting like a madman.
you can imitate rain, or spray them with a spray bottle (on mist) or whatever you want, thats fine, pure water, and do it when the lights just turned on. otherwise the water droplets will act as a magnyfying glass, and the light will burn the plants.

so ya screwed the pooch with nutes. empty out 1/2 the water from the reservoir that ya got, and add it back in as plain water, this will cut the amount of nutes in there by half. that will help alot.

its a lot better to underfeed then overfeed

Hi mate.

When changing your tank, have your ph at around 5.5, don't worry if it rises, i leave mine drift from 5.5 to 6, 6.2 then i take it back to 5.5. That way the plant can take up all the different micro nutrients it needs.
