watering

OK is watering your plant bare minimum a good thing???? i water seven plants about three to three and a half feet tall and use four gallons of water or less. every three days or so. two if its really hot. any tips or ideas??

i am about on the same schedule. i let the soil dry out and wait until the leaves are just starting to droop then i water them until water drains into the bottom of the pot. sounds like your doing fine

It's more harmful to overwater the plant than to underwater. Doing it that way will help you work out when you water so that they get it just before they need it, rather than waiting for the leaves to actually droop. It won't do much harm, but every little helps.
