Im currently in the third week of flower with some bubba kush. Started from clones and half vegged for 2 months and half for a month. Veg under CFLs and flower under a 1k hps. Im using some botanicare tri flex nutes with the botanicare sweet additive. By the looks of it now i should have average results. My question is i just ran out of the sweet..... can I substitute molasses instead? Is there anything else i can add to my nutes to act as a top booster or shooting powder? I want these girls to knuckle up real fat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When it is time to feed I mix the molasses right in with the nutes & water. This has worked well for me. I soil grow and only feed or water once a week. One week nutes molasses & water, next week molasses and water. When it is time to flush - molasses & water.

Carbs in the molasses feed the micro beasties in the soil.
PLEASE REMEMBER.....YOU"RE FEEDING THE SOIL NOT THE PLANT.

The Molasses feeds the Microherd that lives in your soil and feeds off the Organics you mixed in.

Those micro organisms break down the organics into N P K

So you want them to be happy and thriving.

I just used bio-grow molasses based fert. I checked my ph this morning, and I was at 5.5, from 6.7. is this too acidic for my young plants?

Haha, this is true! I used molasses on my last grow for the first time, and when I went into my grow room the next morning after my first water/molasses application, it REEKED of sweet sugar/candy! The nugs were bursting as well.

I believe the molasses also does give carbs to the plant, to help keep ripening the trichs, making sure that they stay fed, while cutting off all other nutes to the plant. Much like the same as if you buy flowers and they give you a pack of 'plant food'. All it is is a sugary/carb mixture, to help keep the flowers alive and looking plush for a short period of time.
