Watering plants with water mixed with sugar

if you water your cannabis plants with sugar water,is it a good idea,and can you grow the plants with out spraying them with water as everytime it has been done it seems to have a negative effect,some help here please people.

i dont see where it would benfit the plant i would think that would draw insects to it like a free buffet for them but you can use molasse mixed in with water

if growing organically then a tsp of sugar or honey mixed in a gallon of water will feed the microbes in the soil, much the same way molasses does.

if you are using chemical nutrients there won't be any microbes in the soil to feed, so this would be pointless.
