watering and transplanting with solo cups?

Im starting my grow with solo cups and i was wondering what the best water cycle would be. I also dont know when i should transplant. Any advice would be be greatly appreciated.

read the how to on growing and cut slits in the bottom of the cup and transplant them in about 12 days after they sprout.
