In a DWC system how close should the water level in rez, be to the bottom of net pots???

You want at least a 1" air space. Ok this is my last post g-night

ANy thoughts on how well a dwc compares too a aerosystem. I about to choos to make this 100 litr rubbermaid into a dwc or aerogarden. SO far my plants love dwc's . Man they get cloned in them they veg in them and they flowerin them. I cud build u a dwc nuclear bomb in a diy 30 sec post but aerogarden sounds fun. Theres a pump for 360gph for 36 bucks on ebay with free shipping!

Half way through ur bud stage u should reduce res lvl to 50:50 (water/air) in the root space...

they say aero grow quicker by misting the roots with nutrient solution

Aeroponics can handle higher res temperatures. Dwc can be hard to get the water cool. If ur flowering clones definately go aero. If ur growing big plants prolly the dwc since in late flowering ur gonna have alot of roots. I think if u go with an aero setup and "Lollipop" u'll get the most out of ur lighting and the least problems.

ok i know one person said at least 1" airspace between the water level and bottom of net pots....but i just saw two people with the water level up to and beyond (slightly) the bottom of net pots.....please clarify???

as long as the air pump is aerating the nute solution it should be good..put your seedlings in there when they get established root system

Some people fill up a DWC system but for established plants you are able to provide additional oxygen to part of the root allowing the air space.

dwc is the cheapest hydro set up to build your self...all you need is a airpump, net cups and hydrotonand that will do good....

as soon as you see roots coming from bottom of net pots you can let the water level drop 2in below if there sre no roots showing i had my level about 5mm from bottom of pots

dam my plant in da same system no where near that big wat kind of light nutrient and my net pod smerge in water do that slow growth
