What's up RIU?
Here's my grow info:
-4 Bagseeds planted
-1 out of 3 was female
-Grew her to approximately 3 ft. tall
-2 weeks to harvest and she became infected with powdery mildew
-Only option was to chop early and water cure
Tools:
2 tupperware containers
3 gallons of distilled water
Method:
-Filled both tupperware containers with about 3" of water.
-Place buds underwater, placed a plate over them so they would stay submerged
-Changed the water every 24 hours, for 7 days straight
Result:
After 7 days of water curing the infected buds were absolutely clear of all mold. Some taste and smell were diminished but the bud was still covered in trichomes.
I took the liberty of quick drying them with a hair dryer (Which works amazingly with no damage done to the buds) and had an amazing thick smoke.
I know alot of people are afraid to try this method because just the thought of submerging their hard work under water lol but if you've ran in to some mold, forgot to flush, or are looking for a quick cure, then you should really consider this.
Maybe I can get some pics up of my finished product tomorrow.
