Water cure question

Hey guys, question on water curing;

I have water cured a few grows in the past to great success. I have a grow currently in water as I type. It is the third day. unfortunately I have to go interstate for a 3 nights so I won't be able to change the water. Will it make a difference? Will it smell or grow mould? Should I just dry it out instead?

From what Ive read about water curing, it can't mold if its completely submerged, so I dont think you have to worry about that. Not sure what the effects would be by keeping it in the same water for 3 days though. If you're gonna be gone for 3 days, you probably may as wel just hang dry it instead.

Thanks mate I'm still deciding. I could leave them for 3 days then give them an exta 2-3 days of water changing just at long as it doesn't damage the buds

Anyone else have any advice?

I believe I read some where that you can dry buds, and then water cure them. Let me see if:
He quotes at the bottom of his lecture:
"What about already dried buds/shwag/moldy buds?

Many have reported success in re-curing nasty buds of one kind or another. Dry schwag that is still in a nugg-ish form can be water-cured, as well as semi-moldy buds (however, no miracles here)".

i would let it dry while im gone in a room with very low humidity
then come back and restart the cure
i would not leave it in the water for the three nights
mold can still form on the buds

I read at another forum that if you cut the cure time to 3 days you will retain the taste and smell of air cure, gonna try the 3 day cure in about three weeks on a small bud.
