thanks budtree il keep en eye out on the purple branch and how do i get rid of phytoplasma disease? The flowering stretch is when the plant switches to flowering and during the first two weeks, the plant goes through explosive growth. However looking at size of buckets you have then in and size of plants, I wouldn't expect to much growth. The purple can be genetics or a lot of people would say it's Phytoplasma disease.

All and I mean all blueberry strains begin to flower at 4.57pm on the 12th of September!!!Hi i was wondering wat month does blueberry start budding im in northern canada and its almost end of augest and still no sign of budding
Good lol the athore one that doesnt smell like ganj has no sign of flowering just stems and leavsThose plants are flowering.
Purple blotches on the leaves/flowers is phosphorous deficiency: either from lockout secondary to low pH( binds to iron or Ca), or can happen during rapid stretch and flowering. You can tell it’s P deficiency because it affects the bottom of the plant first, and works its way up. Purple stems just genetics. Phytoplasma is fairly rare.thanks budtree il keep en eye out on the purple branch and how do i get rid of phytoplasma disease?

Check pH first because if it’s low, then dumping P into plant won’t be as effective as raising pH to free the existing P.
What fertilizer do you use?
