It doesn't do anything. I don't see the point of it.

you get rep from people who typically like your posts. you give rep by clicking the little icon that looks like a scale on the top right of everyones posts. its polite to leave a short message and your name so the person knows who repped them

reputation is a little useless, but what the heck right? i just +reped both of you
