Was my upgrade from 2 COOL TUBES to 2 BLOCKBUSTERS a good idea?

I am in a 5x10 tent for flower ( its really 9'11''x4'9'' or some crap )

I HAD two 600w CoolTubes, then SOLD them and went with BlockBusters again with 600w.

I feel the BB give a more even light pattern, and the CT spread light kind of sloppily.

I dont count that 10x5 area as my Watts Per Square Foot, i count my 4x8 plant canopy. Im at 37.5 WPF.

Did i do right?

yes 2 x 600 will be great in a 4x8 space, you should pull some nice nugs with them, because each 600 light will cross over each other at a wider distance than the cooltubes did you should end up with fatter buds on more plants,

i like cool tubes can keep them closer and keep temp slightly cooler. hoods are good for large spaces an less lights(higher wattage) but personaly i would rather run more lower wattage lights in cool tubes (more sources of light) but it really depends on the distribution adn ceiling height plant height ect. cool tubes are most efficnet with lower wattage bulbs (400-600) and lots of medium to small plants. hoods are good for high watts (600-1000) and big plants in low numbers. so in the eyes of efficiency, air movement and profit cool tubes are better but can have a higher investment cost. in a 5x10 if the only 2 lights y0u have are 600w hoods would be best
