grow tents are great. but dont use them. all tents made with plastic from china (including hydrohut and hydrofarms) is faulty. they kill ur plants. when the plastic heats up, it produces HARMFUL gases. so i repeat dont buy NEW grow tents. i will update when i get more info.

I've heard about this... I have a new tent and my seedlings did have a lot of browning especially when i have it shut.

However, i am new to this so i put it down to bad techneque. My tent doesnt have a brand on it, so no clues as to where its from. I think if you have good enough venitlation then no chemicals should harm your plants right?

and if you do have a bad tent, can you put another layer of mylar on the walls to keep heat down and insulate your plants?

This is old news, I think it was budbox or hydrohut, they are the same thing but there are companies making tents without harmful products, homebox, Secret Jardin darkroom, just dont buy the cheapest one you can find.

this is old news it seems to have effected many hut companies however hydrohut took most of the heat. most likely due to being the most wildly distributed. once all hell broke lose the Secret Jardin darkrooms flooded the market.
hardly what i consider a Dark room tho.
to be honest it is not at all
just put a flashlight up to it.
and see if it is or not.
i have also heard the corners are plastic and can break
i don't know about you but that scares me big time fires and such.
i will be waiting on a tent until i see one that is heavy thick and light proof. and i want metal not plastic.
i am hanging 50 pounds of charcoal it has to be able to handle it.

i bought a budd box. Its 4x4x6.5. Is had metal poles and plastic locks on the corners... I wid not worry about the plastic corners. They are stronger than the metal. Id worry about the str of the light hanger. I have a euro hood with a 400 hps and ducting hanging and it holds it. But ti sure looks iffy. I guess a little duct tape would help. Also my model didnt come ith straps and stuff, and i dont use flanges. Also u want one with 6 inch vents if yu can find it. I love my tent, tho, it rocks all ass. eriously it has cleaned up and made my grow a 1000 times easier and fun and productive as they in fact keep temps down. i sue duct reducers and i dont need flanges for anything, those sleeves really work. I gonna hang a filter and i aint worried bout that, bungee ties wih hooks is what peeps say! I got mine for 95 dollars on ebay and the company si real cool. They clsoed the auction early for me so i could buy it then and not wait!:fire::fire::fire::weed::-o:leaf::clap::hug:
