Hey, all! New to posting here but I've been lurking for the longest time. I figured the time has come to grow some quality herb. So instead of devoting my closet to HID my very first go round, I'll be designing a wardrobe cfl grow. Its obviously no match for HID but I feel it will still be very successful.
Now this thread isn't about the grow, we haven't made it that far yet
I'm just going to describe my design plans/questions and get some feedback from people here of what you all think I should/shouldn't do with this grow box setup
Okay, here goes.
This thing is a pretty nice wardrobe, so I would hate to tear it up, but it was practically free, so I'm willing to chop this mofo to bits.
It's got about 3 feet of room for the plant height. Its a little over 4 feet from the base of the inside to the hanging rack. The rack itself is pretty convenient. I'll be making my own ballast that I'll be able to tweak as much as I want. I plan on using 6-8 CFL at 42watts or more each. 5 on top and a couple on the sides. Venting shouldn't be a problem though I forget the cfm I should be looking for with this heat and space restriction. I'm going to shoot for around 280cfm. Overkill is good I think. I think I'm going to put two outlets (one in each top back corner) and a passive intake in the base. Panda film will line the insides since its fairly cheap. I'll also have a little circulation fan inside. I have a perfect little metal one. This thing REALLY pushes some air (Dried my shrooms cracker dry in a day) and it's completely speed adjustable and the direction can be changed with ease. This should help with the heat somewhat. I'm not too worried about odor so that should make things simpler. The wardrobe is pretty stealth and can be locked, which is sweet. It's also got 5 easy slide drawers that I can use for supplies and cord management. If I feel like it, I may eventually repurpose the drawers, gut the inside and have a kickass little grow box to fit a 250HPS/MH in.

I will to get two plants in there.
I can't decide on which of my seeds to germinate. I've got

White Whidow
A.M.S.
White Rhino
The Church
Blue Venom
Sharksbreath
I'm thinking one of the white strains or blue venom in there but it's so tough haha.
Anyways yeah, LST obviously or I might scrog it. I think the cfl on the sides will help drastically. All organic homemade soil mix and organic nutrient so that I have less of a problem with pH also. I can't think of much more to add right now.
