Want to go perpetual with 3x3x5 and 400w HPS but...

Hi all,

After I have finished what ive got going at the moment I want to get a perpetual grow on the go.

The question is though, how many plants can I get under a 400w HPS in a GL80 Grow Tent (3x3x5)

The reason I ask is I want to know whether I could get away with a weekly harvest (8 plants) or a 2 weekly harvest (4 plants)

I have been looking around for answers but cant seem to find a stable answer.

Any help or advice would be great

Yeah you could do that. It just comes down to your container size right. But in a 3x3' area I'd probably go with 4 huge or 9 smaller just to get even light spread. And if you are harvesting a different one each week, obviously the one ready to harvest is the biggest so you need to raise the smaller ones up to compensate, and lower them week by week on an individual level.

Unless you're doing 12/12 from seed how are you going to do that in a tent? You'd need a veg room, and a flower room, and you'd need to have a new flowering plant over in the flowering room every 1/2 weeks depending on how you're working.

Thats true, you'd need a seperate vegging area.

Thx for the replys - dont worry - I have got a seperate veg tent and cloning area. More than enough to keep a good supply in the flowering room So I think I might go for the 8 then in smaller pots so I can eventually get round to a weekly harvest
