Wall a/c unit in grow room. How can I filter this incoming air?

I will need to use a wall-mounted air conditioner to cool the grow. There is no way around it.
I plan to run a charcoal filter/fan constantly for odor control so I'm not so concerned about the air being sucked out of the room.
My concern is the incoming air and all the crap that's in it.
I'd like to mount a filter on the a/c unit to filter the air being sucked INTO the room.
Can anyone give me some input about doing this?

I want something to filter out mold, spores, insects, male pollen etc. I'd like to mount a hepa filter somehow. I just need some ideas.

most window a/c units just recirculate the air, not drawing in any outside air.
SO youll need to still have an intake. its just recirculating and cooling inside air and using the outside to cool all the heat it itself builds. why my whole apartment feels stuffy just acs on and windows closed
