I see various B vitamin suppliments on the market from Advanced, Botanicaire, and other manufacturers. Just wondering the benefit this type of product provides? I used some Organic B last run, and although things stayed green and healthy till the bitter end, still not sure if its worth the extra denero.

Looked in to B vitamins and amino acids myself and asked the same question-are they worth it? Do they do anything? I wish this forum had some botanist or horticulturalist for members. I've given up on most supplements myself. I've heard that b vitamins may help with the plants immune system but thats it. I don't think it "boost metabolism" like they claim. Like I said, wish there was someone on here that actually knew this stuff, not just quote sales pitches.

Superthrive smells like "wetcake", a by product of ethanol production. I don't know if there's any relation between the two? But the stuff stinks but i also kinda like the smell. I have not used this enough in that past to notice if it works or not.

I've also heard that it contains either indole-3-butyric acid or 1-napthaleleacetic acid. Not sure on this either but those are in Dyna-Gro's KLN, which I use and it does help with root development.
