Hello beautiful people ,apologies for thread header :)

This is my first post so forgive me for any stupid newbie questions :) even though I have been researching and reading till the cows come home I'm now at the stage where I'm confusing myself with information overload!

Anyway here goes and thanks in advance for taking the the time to read this :)

Setup size: 100sq ft
lights: 40 - 70 watts per sqft*=4000 - 7000 watts
Considering either> 4x1000s *or 6x 1000's , just a little concerned on energy usage on the latter, advice on which appreciated. *Lamps will be sun master dual not decided on lights yet.

Amount: 24 totalling 1 per every 4 sqft so plenty of room.

Extraction: I'm thinking of a temperature controlled can ( ruck) for ease of use and to eliminate extra items that would have been required with other fans.*http://www.greenshorticulture.co.uk/Grow-room-Products-20/-In-Line-Fans-Fan-Filter-Deals-108/Can-RUCK-Temperature-Controlled-Fans-1250.asp but would this be enough with the lights and if not suggestions welcome.

Filter: rhino 250 *http://www.greenshorticulture.co.uk/Grow-room-Products-20/Carbon-Filters-Odour-Control-300/Rhino-Pro-Filters-Pre-Filters-1271.asp

Also Light-wise would it be best to have super wide air-cooled ones or would my extraction be sufficient?

Extras include, exolox contact timer

Inlet vents already established*

I will be present throughout so time on site not an issue and will be hand feeding

Much love porkpie*

1 plant per 4 square feet, looking to grow tree method i assume? I would do the four 1000 watt lights air cooled hoods.

Dip that wick!!

My opinion on fans, the bigger the better, you can always slow them down with a fan controller to fine tune your needs.

thanks for input ak.
Don't know about tree method i just didn't want to go ape on first un so just did the math on lights and sqft and came up with 24, however after googling tree method and seeing yield results I won't argue if that happened to be the end result :)

Fan wise the ruck pulls approx 1050 m3 hourly and has variable 3 way speed that is linked up to a built in thermostat, it then alternates between settings to keep temp perfect , this one is oversized for the room ( correct me if I'm wrong!?!) so in theory it won't be on max often.
Do you think I should go bigger?

This wick is most Deff getting dipped :)

When i say growing trees, i mean just letting them grow natually, no bending, training, topping ect.

That is a pretty hefty fan, had to convert it to cfm, ~617 cfm, easily should cool your area if it is configured correctly, and i approximated the cieling hieght at 8 feet.

Hmmnn now im confused!!!!

Working on the lumens scale theory that sub tropical varieties are optimal between 2500-3500 lux then judging by this guide a 1000 watt light intensity at 4 sq mtr would equate to 3500 lumens output, so therefore i would need 2x1000's to cover 8sq and a 600watt to cover the remaining 2sq , correct me if I'm reading this wrong!
