The ViparSpectra XS-1000 is the latest addition to the XS series. It is the smallest fixture in the line and draws only about 120 watts. It features top end components with a Mean Well Driver and Samsung LM-301b diodes. It is a well made and easy to use grow light. I tested the somewhat larger ViparSpectra XS-1500 last fall. It draws about 150 watts and earned a top pick for 2’ x 2’ spaces. The XS-1000 is also meant for 2x2 coverage, but will it be able to fill in the PAR Map? I run it through the test and compare it to the ViparSpectra XS-1500. Watch the video and see how they perform. --- COCO
