Video of DIY Halo Drip system

Someone had asked how I set up my watering system so here is a video. I am not much of a cameraman, especially one handed..

Curious of folks think they are ready for topping. I'm thinking of waiting a few more days.

very cool drip setup. the only thing I would strongly caution is re-thinking the clear lines. the light from your lamps may very likely cause algae inside the lines, and that is bad. we always use the black lines, and dark heavy containers to prevent direct light from contacting the nutrient solution.

I have one that is automated for my coco room, just hooked up the tubing to a small pump on a recycle timer. super easy.

I like the on-off switch idea, if you ever automate, you cold use those to control the volume of liquid from pot to pot, which can be hard to do with a drip system, so your way ahead of the game with that.

what size pots you using? 3g?

Yeah, the black tubing doesn't bend as well but I have same concern. The Drip Clean is supposed to help prevent it and there is very little water left in the lines. But I made need to convert to black or fine the 1,000,001th use for duct tape. No issue with the bucket though because the water is only in it while I am feeding. If there's anything left over, it goes to my basil or the drain.

I think some of the issues I had with my blumat system were because the bucket was in the tent with water in it 24-7. The nutes would get slimy and PH would go nuts. Cool thing though is that if i go out town, i can convert this over to it in minutes and keep them watered. But I didn't like it for day to day.
