Hey All,
Been a while since I posted but I've designed another grow inspired by many awesome grows I've seen on this forum. I over-engineered this one a little but it was a really fun project and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
So I've got 6 plants, 3 Key Lime Kush, 3 Grape OGxChoc (from JB seeds) growing in Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Soil and Black Gold perlite. Not doing super hot right now but we'll get to that in a minute.
The general concept is a central 600W HPS cooltube with the plants spaced out equally around it on little lazy susans with some custom overhead COB frames I built out of aluminum angle.

Everything sits on a 4x4 platform that I built out of plywood and some 2x4s. Each lazy susan has a gear attached to the bottom and they're all connected with a chain to a motor.

The motor turns 1/4 turn (90 degrees) every 4.5 hours so the plants get equal light on all 4 sides during the 18 hour Day cycle. The cooltube is ducted to draw in outside air and ducted through the center of the platform to an extendable duct that runs under the platform then has a duct running out of the tent expelling the heat. Monster carbon filter as well up in the rafters.

There's also an automated watering system that runs to a pump in a bucket outside the tent. The irrigation tubing is zip tied to some metal rods for rigidity and all connects to a 6 hose manifold. The manifold is actually inside the cooltube (couldn't find another way to put it in the middle of the grow and get equal pressure) so you can just see the tubes going into the ducting.

All of this inside of a 5x5 tent from Vivosun. Could probably fit more plants in without all the stuff but where I'm at 6 plants is the limit. Outside the motor and pump are controlled by an Arduino and a relay board that I hooked up. Pretty simple programming and really fun to learn some basic coding.

A couple more shots of the inside with the HPS off.

As you can see the ladies aren't particularly happy right now. This is my first time doing soil (I prefer hydro nowadays) and am struggling to figure out what's wrong. The symptoms look like they could be a P deficiency as a result of high pH so I've started pHing all my water to 6.5 before feeding. Any other thoughts on what could be going on here? Spent all this time building the system but now the plants aren't thriving. Temps generally in the 65-80 range although they might get a little colder at night. Appreciate any insight. Thanks!
