I got these two flytraps back in november.. One got a fly. They've been growing new traps throughout the winter. One has a long steamed flower coming right from the middle of him... They're still in the tiny pots they came in and I'm thinking its time to upgrade.. Anyone have experience with these guys? What do i need to make these badboys flourish?

i think these are cool plants, I would like to start a collection of carnivorous plants I never knew there were so many kinds out there. If your getting flowers doesn't that usually mean your doing a good job by completing the plants cycle?

i was wondering the same thing about that. sometimes with plants they won't bloom for years. and when they finally do they die. hopefully those flowers aren't a sign the end is near.

But doesn't new life follow a natural plant death like finishing it's annual cycle or seasonal cycle, I emphasize the usually because plants dont usually eat insects so i dunno.
