I'm building two rooms (a veg room and a flower room) and am getting well along with the flower one right now (which will have a 400w HPS, and the veg a 250w MH)
I noticed the ventillation fan kicks ass in venting the 400w HPS cab, I have it in a grow tent. I was playing around with some ideas this morning on how to vent both boxes with the one fan (320cfm fan for two ~40cu ft boxes).
The fan I have speed controlled and tuned all the way down (well to the point where the motor doesn't stress) and it still sucks the shit out of the little 36"x20"x62" box (it vents it nicely where I might put the fan on a thermostat even so I don't have so low humidity(20%!!))
So I'm guessing it should be more than enough to vent both...
I've been playing around with ideas/designs on how to do this and have this so far..
This isn't optimal as the air coming into the cab with the fan will be prewarmed from the other cab's 250w MH, but I figure it still wont be hot enough to matter..
(And it will warm up the HPS room when the lights are off and the MH is still burning on the veg side)
Any thoughts, ideas, criticisms, etc are more than welcomed.
