Venting out to a gutter extention sent to roof

Has anyone attempted to adapt ridgid PVC to a standard rainwater gutter spout with a 90 deg turn upwards to vent above the roof? I'm thinking it would look pretty clean, similar to the radon fan system I just had installed. Or am I overthinking this and a ground level exhaust with carbon filter disguised as a dryer vent would suffice.

Lastly, is there a reason I dont often see ridgid PVC used instead of traditional aluminum ductwork?

To push the air that far with I'm guessing at least one 90 degree turn, you'd need a really powerful fan-I'm sure you already know that the further you need to vent, and the more turns you take, the CFM is greatly reduced. Good carbon filters work really well, so venting out the dryer vent is a legitimate option-I'd look at the Phresh filters for that. Either option would work, your just looking at a more expensive fan vs a more expensive filter, or both if you want to go that route. People just use aluminum ducting when they can because it's cheap, easy to take down and store, etc.
