Ventilation

All right so I have to vent my fuckin closet grow and I've been putting it off, thinking everything will be all right considering we're going into winter now, but I have to face the facts. My state is hot as fuck and I'm going to need to do this eventually if I want to continuously grow. So here is some pics of the general architecture around my closet grow area and possible exhausts I could use inside it. I could either exhaust into the opposing room's (my room's) closet or maybe into the roof? The roof would be preferable but I dont know what the hell's up there I think it's just empty space but I'm not even sure since we have no attic. Would this be a safe and ok place to exhaust? Also, I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna go about creating the holes for exhaust. Do I just go at the wall with a hammer? Sorry but there's just no decent exhaust tutorials out there I've found and I don't normally do this DIY shit but if the situation calls for it (and it does) I'ma do whatever I have to.

I would probably vent out the ceiling but keep in mind its going to get very stinky in whatever area your venting to unless you using a carbon filter. Use a drywall hole to cut a nice hole and the rest is pretty self explanitory.
