Ventilation Grow Tent

I am going to be getting a grow tent. The question I have is how to exhaust a tent. I understand the concept of ventilation in a grow room but not a tent. Can I exhaust the old air into the room the tent is in or do I need to go to the outside with it. Also when getting fresh air into the tent should I use another fan to push cooler air in or just have a passive vent on my tent?

anyone have a clue?

Depends on how many lights and how big the rooms are.

My tent is about 5 x 5 x 5 My light is 1000 watt. The room Im in is 13 x 12 x 7

Depends what the ambient temps in the room are, but I think with good movement you might be ok....I think it will be close though.

Here is my set-up. I just have my carbon filter sitting on the floor. Here is how the air flows: Carbon Filter--->Light hood----->Fan----->Vent
