Vent question

I have a 4x2x1.5 grow tent and it's next to my window with a window fan. I'm currently using a 400 watt hps bulb, if I just put a fan in the grow tent, would that cover it for ventalation?

no you gotta move at least 200cfm to keep that small of a space cooled with a 400. does the light have a vented hood? if not, its gonna be tough without piping in some cool air.

exhaust on top with a smaller passive intake on bottom. don't use cpu fans, they are noisy and don't hold a good vacuum.

Weedasaurus it depends what linda of pc fan you use. I have silence ixtrema , only 14db and moves over 70 CFM

firstly MOVE THAT GROW TENT AWAY FROM YOUR WINDOW IT WONT MAKE ANY DIFFRENCE AND PEOPLE MIGHT SEE IT AND GROW TENTS ARE EASY TO MAKE OUT/........SERIOUSLY?

u need to buy a extractor turn it bakwards so it can suk fresh air into the tent buy a dryer tube them plastic things on the bak of a tumble dryer feed that from the inlet extractor to the window

3rdly bu a propper 12 inch oscelating fan the cheap as chips im running 140mm coolermaster fans in my pc and in a grow tent hmmm i think not!lol
