venalation for hps?

i am in need of flowering two plants but i seem to have a little problem and need experienced answers. my set up is a closet grow and i was wondering if i have to have a venalation system in order to have a 400w high pressure sodium bulb to flower with because i can not have a venalation system. and if i do then how many 150w cfl's would it take to flower two plants? if someone who truly knows could give me an answer i would greatly appreciate it thank u.

yes you will need some sort of ventilation system. My setup is in the bedrom and I vent by taking the exhaust tube and placing it outside my bedroom, my ballast is also outside of my bedroom. The more lumens the better, there isn't a set number of lights per plant.

well i know that there isn't im just wondering if those cfl's will be the right spectrum cause i was probably gonna have about ten of the cfl's so im lookin at about 1500w and i know they won't be near as good as the hps but i just cant have a ventilation system but do u think they will be the right spectrum

you need soft white cfl's for flowering. Where did you get 1500 from? 10 23 watt cfl's =230 watts
