vegetation

hey guys i just got on this site, so im not quite entirely sure what im doin so bear with me. my question was in regards to the sea of green method of growing. my friend keeps tryin to tell me that when you clone and use the method, you actually dont use the vegetative stage. instead after the clones get roots you automatically throw them in with the flowering plants. this doesnt seem right to me, and the harvest i think would suck. sure it would be every2 or 3 weeks, but wouldnt it be better to have at least a 2-3 week vegetative period? i would think the quality of bud would be alot better and at least 2x the harvest. i have 2 cabinents and a dresser i hollowed out that im growing in, so i cant let them get to big. how do you guys feel about this?

i say you are right and your friend is wrong. if you want a better yield, you need to veg for a few weeks atleast

You can go right to flower with rooted clones. The idea is you have smaller plants with less per plant, but you have a lot of them and the turnaround time is fast.

yeah but wouldnt it be hard to find a mother plant that i could take 30 clippings from every 3 weeks? it just doesnt seem logical. thats 10 clippings per week. so it seems like the vegetative stage idea is alot more solid and concrete then tryin to rush everythin then. at least thats the vibe im getting, please correct me if im wrong. oh and btw, im surprised how fast i got responses. thanks alot guys
