Veg to flowering question

Hello all, I live here in upstate NY and the weather blows all year round, so indoor is the way to go for me, i just got done renovating a few hotels in south california and picked up some Grand daddy purps from a friend of mine i met down there wich had some seeds in it, so i braught those baby's back with me ofcourse, and now there all germ'd and vegging i have 13 of them, im using the 24/0 veg method and was wondering when it comes time to flower can i switch them right to the 600 watt hps 12/12 right out of a 4-6 weeks of straight 24/0 vegg? also what size pots should i be using for a 18 inch plant? thanks.

go 18/6.....and yes you can start them right out of veg...

usually the "dark time" is to promote root growth and let the plant regenerate. also it lets the plants adjust quicker to12/12 after the 24 hr darkness . . . less stress on the girls, its cheaper on the el;ectric bill too :)

i agree give em some lovin by lettin them rest. also for 18," i wouldnt go more than a gallon.

How old are the plants now?
