Your switching to 12 hours to promote flowering hormones within the plant. Your not stopping the growth. Your transferring it.
My outdoor will stretch as much a a foot and a half after transition. Indoor usually about 6-8 inches depending on strains and size.

If you stop new growth in flower....how do the flowers form? Or where they there all along and we just didn't see them.....giphy (3).gif
