Veg Nutes?

I am about a week into growing my first couple of plants, so once the vegging starts, I know that I'm going to have to start dosing out some nutes to the girls.

I am currently in Happy Frog soil, and everything is looking good. Here in the next couple weeks should I move to FoxFarm Ocean Forest, or should I just stay with Happy Frog?

And what kind of fertilizer would be best with this kind of soil? Do I need all of those ferts, or do I just need one for veg and one for flower?

I myself use HF and OF mixed 50/50. Liquid fish emulsion, liquid seaweed, and a little bat guano during flowering. I usually don't add any nutes at all til about week 3. hope this helps

OceanForest is great, your plants will love it if you transplant them. I'm not a big fan of FoxFarm nutes though, they are expensive and not 100% organic. I use Age Old Organics Grow/Bloom liquid fertilizer, Cheap and organic and the NPK values are almost perfect for mj plants. Can be found at most hydro stores and online. http://www.ageoldorganics.com/products/liquid-fertilizers/

Get some good 2 part or 3 part nutes, whatever fits your budget. Or even the organics, which tend to cost more.

i was looking to only get my veg fertilizers now and then move to the flower when it's time for that.. My budget is kind of tight; this is my first grow. i was looking at your advanced nutrients link in your sig, and it seems to me that you know a lot about nutes. :) maybe i got lucky for the right person to respond.

what would you recommend for a beginner on a budget?

Thanks in advance!:peace:
