yeah it sounds ok, how you growing bud, hydro or soil ? if hydro which type ?
everyone says different but i find it best personally to use veg nutes for the first week of flowering(bloom).
nutrients vary too dont forget. some bloom nutes have more nitrogen than others for example.
loads of nutrients have a table these days or look on here and see if someone elses nutrient doses work for you !

Im growing in soil (promix bx)
So should i use a lesser dosage of the veg nutrients with my bloom nutriens the first week or to or should i use the full dosage

I would follow what the manufacture says about mixing the nutes. Doubt that mixing veg and bloom is necessary or even suggested in most cases.

the person who told you this was likely telling you this so your pants will get the most out of there 2 week stretch period with stretch and root growth. its not wrong but you need to not burn your plants by double dosing them! you want your ppm to still be at manufacture recommendation i would run half strength bloom and half strength veg nutes (half whats reccomended for beginning of flowering) so you should be left with the same amount of overall nutes added as the bottle says

I have grown for a few years, and recently i have kinda swayed my opinion on starving plants of N from the onset of 12/12, its possible to harvest w/ out having leaves die from the N getting sucked dry. from my recent observations and seeing where the evolution of growing is going, i am going to continue to provide N at least into the 4 th week of flowering before reducing it to minimal levels.
